Driver Navigator Removal Guide

Description of Driver Navigator

Should I use Driver Navigator?

Driver Navigator

Driver Navigator is a legitimate program that can solve driver problems by finding missing, repairing corrupted drivers and keeping computer optimized. Even though this application sounds useful, many computer users complain that it appeared on out of the blue. This program is not malicious, but the problem is with its distribution technique that allows getting inside computers bundled with other programs without users’ knowledge.

For this reason, this program is also known as Driver Navigator virus. However, it’s more potentially unwanted program (PUP) than a virus. This program cannot do any harm to your computer, but it can bother you a lot with unwanted system scans. Besides results of these scans may scare some of the users.

The program delivers lots of errors and issues that should be fixed immediately; however, it cannot help you. But you can purchase a full version of Driver Navigator for almost 40 dollars and fix these issues. Keep in mind that majority of detected problems are fake.

Easeware, the developers of this app, plays a little bit unfair and try to trick users into purchasing the full version of the program. However, if you have installed this program from the official website, you don’t need to worry about anything.

These annoying scans are not the only one issue caused by this system tool. Once it gets inside, the computer became sluggish and the system noticeably slowdowns. Besides, while browsing the Internet, you may be redirected to its official website.

Driver Navigator virus may initiate these redirects suddenly or when you click on the URL bar to type the necessary address. This application is not beneficial to you; it only causes inconveniences. We do not recommend purchasing a full licence because we do not believe that tricking and fooling users that their computers need some fixing is a fair marketing strategy.

However, you should definitely scan your PC with a reputable antivirus program and initiate Driver Navigator removal. We recommend installing FortectIntego or SpyHunter 5Combo Cleaner and dedicating this task to one of them. These programs are capable of removing malicious components from the computer and protecting it in the future. At the end of the article, you will find short instructions how to remove Driver Navigator manually.

Driver Navigator

How did this program end up on my PC?

The free trial of Driver Navigator spreads bundled with free programs that users can download from the Internet. This software distribution technique is called ‘bundling.' It allows adding this application as optional and hide it under ‘Standard’ or ‘Quick’ installation modes.

If users choose this setup, they may experience Driver Navigator hijack and let other potentially unwanted programs inside. Software installers do not openly disclose about additional programs and just installs them.

It may be surprising for some computer users; however, if you want to avoid this kind of surprises, you have to get used to installing applications using ‘Advanced’ or ‘Custom’ setup. Using these settings you can see the list of suggested applications and reject their installation.

Tips for Driver Navigator removal

It’s time to talk about options to remove Driver Navigator. This questionable application should go away and stop bothering you with annoying system scans. You can simply remove it from Control Panel. In the Control Panel’s section Programs, choose Uninstall a Program and look for Driver Navigator.

Once you find it, select the Uninstall/Change option and click Yes, and then OK to save the changes. After elimination, you should still scan computer’s system with strong and professional anti-malware program, such as FortectIntego. How to prevent from getting system tools

Prevent the government from spying on you

As there is a growing debate in government about collecting users' data and spying on citizens, you should take a closer look at this issue and find out what shady ways of gathering information can be used to collect information about you. You need to browse anonymously if you want to avoid any government-initiated spying and tracking of information.

You can enjoy secure internet browsing and minimize the risk of intrusion into your system if you use Private Internet Access VPN program. This VPN application creates a virtual private network and provides access to the required data without any content restrictions.

Control government and other third party access to your data and ensure safe web browsing. Even if you do not engage in illegal activities and trust your ISP, we recommend being careful about your security. You should take extra precautions and start using a VPN program.

Reduce the threat of viruses by backing up your data

Due to their own careless behavior, computer users can suffer various losses caused by cyber infections. Viruses can affect the functionality of the software or directly corrupt data on your system by encrypting it. These problems can disrupt the system and cause you to lose personal data permanently. There is no such threat if you have the latest backups, as you can easily recover lost data and get back to work.

It is recommended to update the backups in parallel each time the system is modified. This way, you will be able to access the latest saved data after an unexpected virus attack or system failure. By having the latest copies of important documents and projects, you will avoid serious inconveniences. File backups are especially useful if malware attacks your system unexpectedly. We recommend using the Data Recovery Pro program to restore the system.
